§ Engagements

Pick by problem,not by hour.

Every engagement has a fixed scope, a clear deliverable, and a price agreed after an initial engagement call. You get more than a PowerPoint at the end of it. The deliverables are things your team can use. If you cannot see how it fits, write to us: we will say so, or design something that does.

Engagement 02

Discovery Sprint

2 to 4 weeks · hybrid

Priced after an initial engagement call

Start with a free 30-minute call; we agree scope, then a fixed price and duration.

Engagement 04

Digital Tool Selection & Rollout

8+ weeks

Vendor selection through to go-live. We act as a technical point of contact inside your team, challenging the proposed vendor solution and making sure it meets the needs of the business, working alongside the vendor so the requirements are properly understood, and thoroughly testing the end solution.

Priced after an initial engagement call

Start with a free 30-minute call; we agree scope, then a fixed price and duration.

Outcomes

  • A vendor chosen on fit for your business, not on the demo
  • Go-Live which survives the cutover plan
  • Internal super-users identified and trained so they can champion the solution for future generations of users

Deliverables

  • Scoring matrix based on priority criteria
  • Implementation oversight on your behalf
  • 90 day hypercare period after Go-Live

Best for

Manufacturers choosing a CAD, PLM, MES or ERP tool for the first time, or replacing one that didn't take.

Engagement 05

Project Acceleration

Fixed block of days or weeks

Parachute a technical resource into an existing project to accelerate the pace and meet deadlines. Typical activities include finalising design decisions, reviewing design architecture and writing technical documentation.

From £75 + VAT per hour

We agree the number of days or weeks and a fixed price up front. Start with a free intro to scope it.

Outcomes

  • Stalled design or implementation decisions unblocked
  • An independent, senior review of your current approach
  • Momentum back on a live programme

Deliverables

  • An agreed number of days or weeks at a fixed price
  • Hands-on input to design and implementation
  • A written summary of recommendations
  • Direct access throughout
  • Please note: technical skills such as configuration and implementation of CAD, PLM, MES and ERP tools depend on the existing skillset within the team, and may not always be available at short notice.

Best for

Teams mid-project who need experienced hands to accelerate delivery or de-risk a decision, without a long-term commitment.

Engagement 06

Advisory Retainer

Monthly, on call

Keep a technical resource on call for emergencies, or for specific tasks as they come in. Unused time can be rolled over or converted to a credit note against a future statement of work.

From £60 + VAT per hour

Start with a free 30-minute call; we agree scope, then a fixed price and duration.

Outcomes

  • A technical resource on call when you need one
  • On-call access for sequencing and vendor calls
  • Independent read on your own internal programme

Deliverables

  • Time booked as half days or full days, as you need it
  • Unused time rolled over, or credited against future work
  • A written note of what was covered, as work is done

Best for

Teams running their own programme who want senior outside judgement on tap.

§ FAQ

Common questions

Do you publish prices?

For the entry-level sprints, yes, the Process Mapping Sprint is a published, fixed £1,500 + VAT, remote, booked directly. Larger engagements are scoped after a free 30-minute intro, so the price fits your specific situation. Either way, scope and price are agreed in writing before any commitment.

How do engagements start?

After a free 30-minute call, we send a short scope and price. If it fits, we schedule and we send an invoice. If not, we will tell you outright or suggest something that does.

Are you tied to Siemens or a specific vendor?

No. We are vendor-neutral. Our expertise includes Siemens Teamcenter and Opcenter because that is what we have delivered in the field, but we choose tools based on fit, not allegiance. Proprietary or open-source, whatever survives contact with the line.

Do you work with SMEs across the UK?

Yes. Most clients are UK-based SMEs, and most work is delivered remotely to keep costs down. Where on-site time is needed, we agree it up front. Engagements usually start with a quick call.

What kind of clients do you work with?

We have experience with a wide variety of design and manufacturing companies across several industries, ranging from small startups to much larger operations. We adapt our working processes so that they suit our client's way of working. We often work under NDA, so will never specify the individual names of our clients.

How do I book?

Start with a free 30-minute intro call. From there we can agree scope and price for a fixed-scope engagement, or we can send you an invoice for the work we've agreed.

What about advisory time blocks?

We also offer remote advisory as half days (£240 + VAT) and full days (£480 + VAT), at a flat £60 + VAT per hour with no volume discount. Valid 12 months from purchase. These are for steering calls and quick decisions, not on-site work.
